15th Meridian” - a musical story with Stargard in the background!

There are artistic encounters in which the fulfilment of dreams intertwines with a return to one’s roots. This is the story behind “15th Meridian” — a song by Michał Wiraszko recorded together with Jan Borysewicz. The music video, premiering on 9 October, will take viewers to Stargard — Wiraszko’s hometown. The Stargard Ambassador of Culture describes working with the legendary Polish guitarist as the fulfilment of a childhood dream. Stargard thus becomes a place where the artist’s personal story finds its musical and cinematic expression.

For the city, it is a unique form of promotion through the work of an artist for whom Stargard remains part of his artistic identity. Music and images can spark curiosity about a place more effectively than many a brochure, while giving familiar places a new meaning.

“15th Meridian” is an invitation to Stargard — one born of emotions, memories and an attachment to one’s hometown.
