Bolesław Chrobry Park

The oldest and largest park in Stargard stretches along the former earthworks bordering the northern and western sides of the Old Town. Running through its centre, alongside the historic defensive walls and St John’s Bastion, is the picturesque Słowicza Avenue.

Among the park’s mature deciduous trees and numerous shrubs stand several impressive natural monuments, including a white poplar nearly five metres tall, as well as old beeches, oaks and maples. The park borders Castle Park and Piastowski Park.
