Stargard Citizens – To the Homeland Monument

On the square at the junction of Kazimierza Wielkiego and Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie Streets stands the “Stargard Citizens – To the Homeland” Monument. It was created as an expression of the city’s residents’ remembrance and gratitude, commemorating the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence.

The monument was ceremonially unveiled on 11 November 2018. Since then, the square surrounding it has been the main venue for Stargard’s patriotic and national ceremonies.
