For centuries, Stargard has proudly held the title of a city that has no equal in Western and Central Pomerania in terms of the class and incredible concentration of historical monuments. We have prepared a special Old Town tourist trail for you, which brings together the greatest treasures of the former republic in the form of a convenient loop.

The route runs along picturesque municipal parks, stretching along former bastions, moats, mighty walls, and defensive fortifications that only those in Kraków can rival in Poland. Thanks to the loop layout, you can start your walk at any point. Walking the trail takes just over two hours – an ideal amount of time for a leisurely stroll, short moments of relaxation in the green parks, and soaking in the city’s unique atmosphere (excluding longer museum interior tours or climbs up viewpoints).

This is a route that every Pomeranian wanting to truly understand their region’s roots should take, as well as a must-see point on the map for any true connoisseur of European architecture. Put on comfortable shoes, grab your camera, and hit the road – it’s time to discover the jewel of Pomerania!
